TheT-Tapp 60 Day Challenge bit the dust after 5 days in 95 degrees with no AC and my mom breaking her ankle.
I was thinking about my recent fitness "failures" and wondering why I'm not upset about them. I think it's because I'm learning so much about myself each time I even try something. Plus, no one succeeds straight out of the box, so I need to fail to get to success.
So I'm running the Komen 5K on September 10. I started by running 15 minutes, and bump it up 2 minutes every time I run, which is every other day. By the race I'll be able to run for 41 minutes, is the plan.
This morning I ran 23 minutes. It was totally doable. I still don't like running, but it's not so hard physically this time. I think the T-Tapp is increasing my overall fitness enough to help the running.
