Hello. Have you finished your children's Halloween costumes yet? I had them both done on Saturday, even. But then LOD took the kids to a party on Sunday and El Pequeño got chocolate all over his. When I tried to scrub it out, all my careful Sharpie work bled. So I have to do an entirely new one by 4 p.m. today.
It's almost as if there's no reason for me to get things done ahead of time. Like the universe is telling me to continue with a lifetime of procrastination.
Also, I went to a T-Tapp clinic last night and got my form adjusted, and I have a feeling that I won't be able to walk or move my arms or bend at the abdomen tomorrow. We spent 90 minutes going through the 15-minute routine in excruciating detail.
Jamie is wearing a hand-me-down frog costume from Old Navy that probably won't ever make it onto his body. It's fuzzy and one piece and very much like the pajamas he now refuses to wear. We'll see if peer pressuer gets the best of him at his halloween party at daycare this morning!

Ooh, you got to a clinic, too! Who was your trainer? I just went to my first-ever over the weekend, and will be posting about it today on the good ol' Summertime. For the record, it took two full days for the soreness to go away, meaning that I went on Saturday and today is the first day I can go up stairs without saying "oof!" Working out yesterday helped, I think.
Good luck with the costume. Dorian made it easy on me this year by requesting to be a builder. Can I buy overalls? Yes I Can!

I am exceedingly jealous that you got to go to a T-Tapp workshop.
Our costumes have been done for weeks. (Thank you, ebay and hand me downs.) First party was at 9:30 today and we've survived. We came home and she wiped green-candy hands all over the shirt, but luckily I think I can hide it for tonight.
Have fun!

I finished it last night an hour after I should have gone to bed. But OH will it be cute - she is going to be the Very Hungry Caterpillar (or Naterpillar) and I am... a leaf. She's coming to school for our Halloween parade in half an hour. I am very excited!

Not that this will help you now, but as an FYI for the future... spraying Sharpie-work with some hairspray will help it set so you can then wash the article in question. I imagine aerosol hairspray and hand washing would work best. :)

B's was finished last week because he had a party to attend. He is a turtle and I am glad he had an early party because there is still a little bit of green fabric dye that splashed on my hand that I can't scrub of, but it gets better every day. M is a flower and while I dyed her shirt and pants (or stem and leaves) at the same time as the turtle suit, I only finished her petal headband last night.

Too many years of Halloween costumes. We want to Target 3 weeks ago and bought a Thomas the Tank Engine, and a witch. They were happy. Together it was less than $30. I seem to get less creative each year I'm a mother.
